December 2024

Experiences 1 :

What I did :  With my German club every year we put on a German Winter market. I was in charge of games, we did a snowball throwing game, and a reindeer toss. My brother was able to come in and give me a hand. It wasn't to busy but the right amount of action.

Experiences 2 :

What I did : So for the winter market I made each game. For the snowball toss I painted the snowman on the tri-fold, the snow, and then added splats to act as snow falling. Then for the reindeer toss. I wrapped a cardboard box in brown wrapping paper. Tied in blow up antlers then drew on the eyes and smile. Then hot glued on a red nose.

Time management

Meeting deadlines

Experiences 3 :

What I did : Me and my friends did a gingerbread making contest and I did not win.  We used icing to put all the parts together, then we let our imagine run as wide as the houses slid down the icing trail. We added candy lights and windows but they didn't stay on quite well.

Experience 1 Reflection :

I always love doing the Winter market every year. This year I had a bit to much on my plate so it was nice to have a helping hand. So my brother was able to join and help out. it was nice, the Winter market is normally stressful but this year we didn't have a lot of people come but is was still a decent turn out. We ran both stations on the same table, the kids that came along enjoyed it. It was nice to spend time with my brother as we don't get to spend a lot of time together due to the little time we do have.
